How i can stake Noir?

To start staking from Noir you need the core wallet. The Electrum Wallet is currently not suitable for staking. You can find the core wallet on our

The reward for staking is actually 0.66 NOIR.

Staking instructions

Unencrypted Wallet (not recommended)

Staking starts automaticly when you start your wallet and you have over 0 NOR in it.

Encrypted Wallet (recommended)

  1. Click the ‘Settings’ button in the toolbar

  2. Click ‘Unlock For Staking…’

  3. Enter your passphrase and click ‘OK’

Note: A balance greater than 0 NOR is needed to stake!

EXAMPLE: Here you see an encrypted wallet. You can see it on the closed lock. The wallet doesnt stake any coins!

For staking you must click on "Settings" and then on "Unlock For Staking". Now you must enter your passphrase to encrypt the wallet for staking

Then you see the wallet is encrypted when the lock is open. You are now staking NOIR!
